Greetings!
Sorry I'm a day late--guess I'm NOT solar powered. Big week, so let's get straight to the plans--
MONDAY: Students will write the rough draft of Trait #2 for their biography projects. This is HOMEWORK DUE TUESDAY.
TUESDAY: Students will peer edit their rough drafts of Trait #2, so there is NO HOMEWORK.
WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will be SBAC TESTING, so NO HOMEWORK.
THURSDAY: Students will write the rough draft of Trait #3. This will be HOMEWORK DUE MONDAY.
FRIDAY: Ms. Benek will come in for our weekly "Living Skills" lesson, so NO HOMEWORK.
I'm sure you know Wednesday is a LATE START DAY and have made plans accordingly.
Also, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY SBAC ELA TESTING DAYS (State Testing in Reading and Language Arts). Please make sure your student gets a good night's sleep the evening before test days and eats well before tests. I'm sure you noticed above that there is VERY LITTLE HOMEWORK THIS WEEK because I want the students well rested and alert for their test days.
