6th Grade Science Plans for May 30th through June 3rd, 2016

Greetings!

Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend; wasn't the weather nice on Monday?  We have eleven days of school left--Wherever has the time gone?  Well, the best way to make it go quickly is to stay busy, so here are this week's plans--

MONDAY--NO SCHOOL--MEMORIAL DAY

TUESDAY--Students will add vocabulary terms to their Science Notebooks and will go over the directions for tomorrow's lab, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will participate in the "Craters Lab" which will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY--Students will begin a researching for a presentation project.  This will be due next week, but there will be several days to work on it, so NO HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND.

Please note that Wednesday is a LATE START DAY, so if you haven't already done so, please make the appropriate plans.

And, this is a "biggie", the LAST DAY FOR LATE WORK, MISSING ASSIGNMENTS, AND EXTRA CREDIT is FRIDAY, JUNE 3rd.  Please discuss this with your student, especially if you see missing work in this progress report.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact me.  The best email address is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
