6th Grade Science Plans for November 14th through 18th, 2016

Greetings!

What a wonderful conference week it was!  It was terrific to meet all of you.  And I say to you what I said to the students, "No wonder this is such an excellent class--you have great parents/guardians who really care about you!"  Thank you for your support, and if you didn't have a conference but would still like one, call the Office (360-264-3600) and we will see what we can set up.

Now on to the plans for this week:

MONDAY--Students will complete the notes on Atoms & Molecules in their Science Notebooks, and will add a Diagram of an Atom to it.  This is HOMEWORK DUE FRIDAY.

TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY, & THURSDAY--Students will work on a model of an Atom.  This is HOMEWORK DUE FRIDAY.

FRIDAY--Students will use their Chromebooks for research.  This will take place in class, so NO HOMEWORK.

I am VERY proud of myself.  I am NOT a "techie", so when I managed to email the slide presentation the students are to take notes on (in their Science Notebooks, DUE FRIDAY) , it was a major accomplishment.  I will also attach this to the "Message Center" in Skyward, so if you could look over your student's notes on this presentation in his/her Science Notebook, that would be terrific.  The attachment should still be in the "Message Center", so please look for it there.  Thank you!

Yes, I am sure of it this time--Wednesday IS a LATE START DAY, so hopefully you have already made arrangements.  By the way, NEXT WEEK we have regular schedules for Monday & Tuesday, but Wednesday is an EARLY RELEASE DAY, and there is no school Thursday & Friday.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact me.  The phone number in my classroom is 360-264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us
