6th Grade Science Plans for October 31st through November 4th, 2016

Greetings!

Sorry this is late--think I'm still recovering from Outdoor School; I will try to be on time next week.  So here are the plans for this week:

MONDAY--Students will watch a video to review the Scientific Method, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will be introduced to defining terms in their Science Notebook.  These eight terms should be completed in class; if not, they are HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will be taking notes on a video. This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Students will work researching weather instruments.  If this is not completed in class, it is HOMEWORK DUE FRIDAY.

FRIDAY--Students will be taking notes in their Science Notebooks, so NO HOMEWORK.

Just a reminder that conferences will be held next week Monday through Wednesday.  Evening conferences are available Tuesday night.  It's not too late to call and schedule one.  Please do this by contacting the TMS Office at (360) 264-3600.

Also, this is a LATE START WEEK, so Wednesday school will start two hours later.  I'm sure you are already aware of this, but just in case......

Finally, there is NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH--it's Veteran's Day.  (I'll bet you already know that, too.)

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please email me at humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us or call me at (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
