Greetings!
What a wonderful conference week it was! It was terrific to meet all of you. And I say to you what I said to the students, "No wonder this is such an excellent class--you have great parents/guardians who really care about you!" Thank you for your support, and if you didn't have a conference but would still like one, call the Office (360-264-3600) and we will see what we can set up.
Now on to the plans for this week:
MONDAY--Students participate in our weekly "Life Skills" lesson, so NO HOMEWORK.
TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will participate in a practice test for the SBAC in English/Language Arts, so NO HOMEWORK.
THURSDAY--Students will cover a lesson in bullying, so NO HOMEWORK.
FRIDAY--Students will see a sample slide presentation for their "Student Led Conferences", so NO HOMEWORK.
Yes, I am sure of it this time--Wednesday IS a LATE START DAY, so hopefully you have already made arrangements. By the way, NEXT WEEK we have regular schedules for Monday & Tuesday, but Wednesday is an EARLY RELEASE DAY, and there is no school Thursday & Friday.
