7th Grade Science Plans for November 28th through December 2nd, 2016

Greetings!

Hope you had a terrific "Turkey Day" and great weekend break.  We have arrived at the end of the first trimester!  Time flies, especially in middle school.  Here is what we will be doing this week:

MONDAY--Students will get back and we will go over some assignments from last week.  Next, students will be doing a "Grade Check" on Skyward which will be due at the end of the period, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will be adding some lecture notes to their Science Notebooks and will be watching a slide presentation on the Colorado River, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--Students will watch a slide presentation on the Colorado Plateau, so NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Students will be introduced to erosion through a slide presentation on Monument Valley, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--EARLY RELEASE--Students will participate in the "End of the Term Auction", so NO HOMEWORK.

Just a reminder, as you can see above, FRIDAY IS AN EARLY RELEASE DAY.  Students will be released from school at 11:40 a.m., so please plan accordingly.

Remember that: ALL MISSING ASSIGNMENTS AND EXTRA CREDIT IS DUE ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH.  Any work turned in after that deadline will not be accepted.  Also, SCIENCE NOTEBOOKS ARE DUE THE SAME DAY.  These are worth 100 points, which would change your student's grade drastically; please be sure these are turned in.

Please contact me with any questions, comments, and/or concerns.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
