Greetings!
Well, gray weather over the weekend and I got everything graded--Imagine that! So here are the plans for this week:
MONDAY & TUESDAY--Students will work on the cover for their biography project. This is HOMEWORK DUE WEDNESDAY.
TUESDAY--YOU HAVE HOMEWORK! (The students will love this one!) I am printing out the final draft of their biography project. This should be: an introductory paragraph, three paragraphs each on a character trait their person has/had, and a concluding paragraph--so FIVE PARAGRAPHS IN ALL. The character trait paragraphs must have three separate "stories" that prove their biography person possesses/possessed this particular trait. YOUR HOMEWORK IS TO PROOF-READ THIS ESSAY. This is DUE THURSDAY.
WEDNESDAY--LATE START--As a reward for working so hard on the SBAC tests, we are partying. Cinnamon rolls for everyone, so NO HOMEWORK.
THURSDAY--Your student will make the corrections to his/her rough draft, print that copy out for me, then turn it in for a 100 point grade, so NO HOMEWORK.
FRIDAY--Ms. Benek will come in for our "Life Skills" lesson, so NO HOMEWORK.
Just a reminder that there is a LATE START WEDNESDAY, so please plan accordingly. Other than that, it is "Spirit Week" ('Merica Monday, Twelves Tuesday, Camo-Country Wednesday, Beach Thursday, and School Spirit Friday).
As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please feel free to contact me. The best email address is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.
Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
