6th Grade Science Plans for May 16th through 20th, 2016

Greetings!

Well, gray weather over the weekend and I got everything graded--Imagine that!  So here are the plans for this week:

MONDAY--Review last week's test and begin taking notes on the new unit (Planetary Science).  NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students record more notes in their Science Notebooks on "Phases of the Moon", plus do a "Phases of the Moon" puzzle.  This is HOMEWORK DUE WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY--Students watch the "Bill Nye" video on "The Moon" and do the worksheet that goes with it.  This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Students will work on a "Phases of the Moon" lab which is DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will work on a crater lab, so NO HOMEWORK.

Just a reminder that there is a LATE START WEDNESDAY, so please plan accordingly.  Other than that, it is "Spirit Week" ('Merica Monday, Twelves Tuesday, Camo-Country Wednesday, Beach Thursday, and School Spirit Friday).
As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  The best email address is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
