6th Grade Science Plans for March 9th through 13th, 2015

Greetings!

Well, I'm getting closer to my Sunday target--maybe next week?  Just a reminder that Wednesday is a LATE START DAY, so please plan accordingly.  Also, I will be gone on Friday; Mrs. Harris & I are going to make up that Science curriculum day we missed in February.  Here are the plans for this week:

MONDAY--Students will take the first of their three "finals" over the Microscope Unit.  Today's will be the "Practical Lab Test" to be done in class and will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will be working on the second final:  an individual microscope drawing that will be done in class.  Each student will have the entire period to work on his/her drawing.  This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so again there will be NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--Students will work on the "Microscope Word Search".  This IS HOMEWORK--DUE FRIDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will take the WRITTEN FINAL.  Hopefully they have been studying the ten lessons we have covered over the course of the unit.  NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will watch a video on our solar system, so NO HOMEWORK.

As always, please feel free to contact me [Email: humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us or Phone: (360) 264-3644].

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
