6th Grade Science Plans for April 24th through 28th, 2017

Greetings!

Well, we survived our first week of testing (first part of English/Language Arts), and now will complete the second half this week.  In the meantime, here's what's happening in the classroom this week:

MONDAY--Students will finish last week's "Five Materials Lab" and turn in the worksheet, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will go over last Friday's test (Exam #1).  NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--Students will begin putting the diagrams of the plant and animal cells in their Science Notebooks, this is HOMEWORK, DUE FRIDAY.

THURSDAY--SBA ELA Test.  NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students watch a video on "Cells" and will fill out an accompanying worksheet which will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.  There will be NO OTHER HOMEWORK.

Since we continue to test this week, please be sure your student gets a good night's sleep, recharges his/her Chromebook, and has an adequate breakfast on the day of the test.  I know these seem like common sense items, but they can make a world of difference, and we want your student's test scores to reflect his/her true abilities.

If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, by all means please contact me.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
