7th Grade Science Plans for January 16th through 20th, 2017

Greetings!

Hope you are enjoying the long week-end.  Sounds like we're done with the cold weather for a while and our warmer, wet weather will return next week--we'll see.  Now on to this week's plans:

MONDAY--Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday--NO SCHOOL

TUESDAY--Students will receive three assignments back and we will go over them.  Then students will begin taking notes on the Rock Cycle in their Science Notebooks.  These will be DUE FRIDAY.

WEDNESDAY--Students will continue to take notes in their Science Notebooks from the Rock Cycle Slide Presentation.  This will be DUE FRIDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will have a "Catch Up Day" and will complete any of the notes from the Rock Cycle Slide Show notes that should be in their Science Notebooks.  Those notes are DUE FRIDAY.

FRIDAY--Students will begin working on their "Rock Cycle Comic Strip", so NO HOMEWORK.

I will be out of the classroom on Thursday, January 19th for Science curriculum work, so students will have a substitute instructor.  I have built in a "Catch Up Day" for any missing or incomplete assignments.  Please look carefully at your student's progress report and  help your student make a plan to prioritize their work.  This could greatly help your child's grade in Science.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and or concerns, please contact me.  The best email address is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
