6th Grade Science Plans for January 23rd through 27th, 2017

Greetings!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend, even if the Seahawks weren't in the playoffs.  (Sigh!)  Here's what's happening this week:

MONDAY--Students were completing the "Latitude Quiz" from Friday, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will be going over the "Graphing Daylight World" assignment from last week as well as the website that went with it.  We will also be going over the differences between weather and climate, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--Students will be watching a video on Space and doing a worksheet that goes along with it.  This will be HOMEWORK DUE THURSDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will be working on the FOSS website on a worksheet on different climates.  This will be HOMEWORK DUE FRIDAY.

FRIDAY--Students will be working on a "Seasons Lab", so NO HOMEWORK.

I will be out of the classroom again on THURSDAY, JANUARY 26TH working more on the new Science Curriculum.  Please discuss with your student his/her behavior with the substitute teacher.  There were a couple of problems last time.

Just a reminder that the end of the first half of Trimester #2 is Friday, January 27th.  Please check your student's grades carefully.  These will be sent home to you shortly, and your child should not wait too long to do something about a substandard grade.

Please contact me with any questions, comments, and/or concerns you may have.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
