6th Grade Science Plans for January 9th through 13th, 2017

Greetings!

Brr!!!  It's been chilly lately.  And the forecast is for more cold weather, so please pay attention to those phone calls, text messages, and radio announcements.  Now here's what we're doing this week:

MONDAY--Students should complete their "Temperature Graph Worksheet"; they will have work time to do this in class.  This assignment is DUE TUESDAY.

TUESDAY--Students will TAKE A QUIZ on MAKING A GRAPH and interpreting it.  This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will begin taking notes in their Science Notebooks on "Seasons".  (See attached slide show.)  This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD FRIDAY.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY--Students will have time to work on their "Seasons" notes put into their Science Notebooks.  DUE BY THE END OF THE PERIOD.

I'm sure you are aware of the fact that Wednesday is a LATE START DAY, and Monday, January 16th is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, so there is NO SCHOOL.

If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact me.  The best email address is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
