Greetings!
Hope you enjoyed the three day weekend. Our Leadership class put on a wonderful assembly on Friday about Martin Luther King, Jr. Be sure to ask your student about it. Now here is what we will be doing this week:
MONDAY--MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY--NO SCHOOL
TUESDAY--Students will work on the worksheet that goes with Chapters 8 & 9 in "The Golden Goblet" This is HOMEWORK DUE THURSDAY.
WEDNESDAY--Students will take the MAP Test in Reading. NO HOMEWORK.
THURSDAY--Students will begin reading Chapter 10 silently in "The Golden Goblet". This needs to be COMPLETED BY MONDAY, so consider it HOMEWORK.
FRIDAY--Ms. Benek will return to continue our "Say It Straight" program. NO HOMEWORK.
You already know we had no school on Monday, and now you know that MAP testing begins this week. This week's session will be on Reading and Language Arts. Next week's testing will be Math, and will take place on Tuesday. Also, remember that NEXT WEEK will be a LATE START ON WEDNESDAY.
