6th Grade Science Plans for January 18th through 22nd, 2016

Greetings!

Oops!  I just realized I sent you the plans for my Academy class--Sorry about that.  Let's try it again, but with 6th Grade Science in mind.  Here is what we will be doing this week:

MONDAY--MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY--NO SCHOOL

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY--Students will get back and go over several previous assignments.  They will also begin drawing the crystals in their Science Notebooks.  Although it is not really HOMEWORK, it does need to be COMPLETED BY THURSDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will add information to their Science Notebooks and will participate in a concentration demonstration, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will work on a "Salt Concentration Lab". This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, SO NO HOMEWORK.

You already know we had no school on Monday, and now you know that MAP testing begins this week.  This week's session will be on Reading and Language Arts.  Next week's testing will be Math, and will take place on Tuesday.  Also, remember that NEXT WEEK will be a LATE START ON WEDNESDAY.

Have a wonderful week, and please contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have.  The best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.
