7th Grade Science Plans for January 4th through 8th, 2016

Greetings!

Brrr! And hope you had a wonderful Winter Break.  Be sure to listen to the television & radios stations tomorrow morning--slippery roads might result in a late start.  If you are not already registered with "Flash Alert", I recommend you do so.  Just go to the Tenino School District website, under "Parent Information", select "Flash Alert" and it will give you step-by-step directions on how to do so.  It's great because it not only sends you an email, but you can sign up to receive text messages on your cell phone.  I'm signed up and often receive word through "Flash Alert" before I get the staff phone call and/or see it on tv.

Now here's what we will be doing this week:

MONDAY--Students will get back previous assignments and we will go over them.  Students will also add vocabulary to their Science Notebooks in class, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will work on the "Discovering Cells" lab in class, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--Students will work on the "Minipond Safari" lab in class, so again, NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Students wil REVIEW FOR TOMORROW'S TEST in class.  Students should TAKE HOME THEIR SCIENCE NOTEBOOKS & STUDY THEM FOR FRIDAY'S TEST.

FRIDAY--Students will take Exam #3, so NO HOMEWORK.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
