Hope you enjoyed the two week break! Now it's time to buckle down & muscle on through to the end of this semester--the last day is Thursday, January 29th and there is no school on Friday, January 30th. So here are the plans for this week:
MONDAY--We will finish watching a video we started prior to the break, so there is no homework today.
TUESDAY--Students will read the monthly Art magazine silently in class. No homework.
WEDNESDAY--Students will work on the comprehension questions that go with this magazine. This assignment will be due at the end of the period, so no homework.
THURSDAY & FRIDAY--Students will be watching a video on Rembrandt. No homework.
Remember that NEXT WEEK Wednesday (January 14th) will be a LATE START DAY, plus we will be doing our mid-year MAP testing 3rd & 4th periods on January 13th (Reading) and Thursday 15th (Math) for the 7th graders. 8th graders will be tested on Monday, January 12th 1st & 2nd periods (Reading) and Wednesday, January 14th 1st, 2nd, & 3rd periods (Math). Please make sure our students are well rested & ready to go for these tests. Thank you for your support.
Also, I have an appointment Friday afternoon, thus I will be gone, so our Art class will have a substitute teacher that day.
As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me [email address: humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us or classroom telephone number: (360) 264-3644].
Have a great week,
Michele M. Humble
