Sorry this is late, too much football--my fault. Just a reminder that Wednesday, January 14th is a Late Start Day", and there is NO SCHOOL Monday, January 19th. Also, 6th graders are MAP testing Tuesday, January 13th in Reading and Thursday, January 15th in Math 1st & 2nd periods. Now here is what we're doing this week in Academy:
MONDAY--Students will be taking a quiz on concentration, then finishing the two drawings of the crystals, so NO HOMEWORK.
TUESDAY--Students will be taking part in a lab using what they have learned about concentration, so no additional assignments.
WEDNESDAY--Students will get back and go over the quiz they took on Monday, so no homework.
THURSDAY--Students will be doing the "Fizz Quiz" lab, so no other assignments.
FRIDAY--Students will watch a video on Chemical reactions, so NO HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND.
Just a little "heads up": THE LAST DAY FOR LATE/MISSING WORK AND/OR EXTRA CREDIT IS FRIDAY, JANUARY 23rd. Also, THE CRYSTAL DRAWINGS MUST BE COMPLETED BY THIS FRIDAY (1/16TH). THE LAST DAY TO WORK ON THEM IN CLASS IS MONDAY, January 12th. STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT DONE SHOULD MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO STAY AFTER SCHOOL Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday to get this done.
