Greetings!
Hope you enjoyed the two week break! Now it's time to buckle down & muscle on through to the end of this semester--the last day is Thursday, January 29th and there is no school on Friday, January 30th. So here are the plans for this week:
MONDAY--We will finish watching a video we started prior to the break, so there is no homework today.
TUESDAY--Students will do the vocabulary worksheet that goes with Chapters 8 & 9 in "The Golden Goblet". This HOMEWORK will be due Wednesday.
WEDNESDAY--Students will be given time in class to read Chapters 8 & 9 from "The Golden Goblet" silently in class. This needs to be completed by Thursday.
THURSDAY--Students will answer seven comprehension questions on a worksheet. This HOMEWORK will be due on Friday.
FRIDAY--We will cover the discussion questions on Chapters 8 & 9 from "The Golden Goblet" in class, then students will complete the rest of the assignment on the worksheet. This will be DUE ON MONDAY if it is not completed in class.
Remember that NEXT WEEK Wednesday (January 14th) will be a LATE START DAY, plus we will be doing our mid-year MAP testing 1st & 2nd periods on January 13th (Reading) and 15th (Math). Please make sure our students are well rested & ready to go for these tests. Thank you for your support.
