7th Grade Science Plans for January 12th through 16th, 2015

Greetings!

Sorry this is late, too much football--my fault.  Just a reminder that Wednesday, January 14th is a Late Start Day", and there is NO SCHOOL Monday, January 19th.  Also, 7th graders are MAP testing Tuesday, January 13th in Reading and Thursday, January 15th in Math 3rd & 4th periods.  Now here is what we're doing this week in Science:

MONDAY--Students will be completing their "Cell City" posters.  Both the poster and the "Cell Parts Chart" will be DUE TUESDAY.

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY--After a brief presentation on their "Cell City" posters, students will work on their Organelle posters; on Thursday, students will also do a brief presentation to the class on their posters.  These will be DUE ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will giving their Organelle poster presentations, so there is NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will work on an assignment in class called "Ribbon of Life".  This involves the FOSS website and should be completed in class, so NO HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND.

Just a little "heads up":  THE LAST DAY FOR LATE/MISSING WORK AND/OR EXTRA CREDIT IS FRIDAY, JANUARY 23rd.

Please contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.  The phone number in the classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
