7th Grade Science Plans for April 25th through 29th, 2016

Greetings!

Wasn't the "Evening of Excellence" wonderful?  It was so much fun to honor the students as they have been working so hard this year in so many different areas.  If you weren't able to attend, and you received an invitation, your student should have received his/her certificate and bumper sticker 7th period on Friday.  If there is a problem, please let us know ASAP so we can resolve it.  Now on to this week's plans:

MONDAY, TUESDAY, & WEDNESDAY--Students will finish going over the expectations for the "Create-An-Insect" project and will begin working on it.  They will have THREE DAYS IN CLASS to work on it.  This assignment is DUE FRIDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will be taking the SBA State Test in their 2nd and 3rd periods, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will be taking swabs of different locations in the school and will watch a PowerPoint on the biologic classification system, so NO HOMEWORK.

This week marks the start of our State Testing.  On Thursday, your student will be testing on his/her Chromebook 2nd and 3rd periods.  Please be sure he/she gets a good night's sleep the night before and has a nutritious, filling breakfast on Thursday.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact me ASAP.  The best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
