7th Grade Science Plans for April 18th through 22nd, 2016

Greetings!

Oh my goodness!  What a beautiful weekend it was, and Monday & Tuesday promise to be just as nice.  Spring Fever anyone?  Oh well, we shall plunge on, so here's what' happening this week:

MONDAY--Your student will REVIEW FOR TOMORROW'S TEST.  He/she should know  the parts of a flower, process of pollination, process of fertilization, and why seed dispersal is important.  The homework is to STUDY FOR THE TEST.

TUESDAY--Exam #7 Post Test and the Pre-Test of Exam #8.  NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--LATE START--Video on Insects.  The worksheet will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, SO NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY--Students begin their Insect Adaptation Project.  Students will receive three days in class to work on this, so it is DUE TUESDAY.

Just in case you weren't aware, Thursday, April 21st is our EVENING OF EXCELLENCE.  If you have received an invitation, your student will be honored.  The celebration will be held IN THE TMS GYM STARTING AT 6:00 P.M.  Please make every effort to make this wonderful event--our students have worked hard, and it is sure a pleasure to recognize their accomplishments.  If you are not sure if your student will be recognized, please call the Office (360-264-3600) or email or call me and I will make every effort to find out.  Hopefully, I will see you there.

As mentioned above, Wednesday is a LATE START DAY, so hopefully you have planned accordingly.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  The best email address is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us or the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
