6th Grade Science Plans for November 16th through 20th, 2015

Greetings!

What a rainy weekend!  Thank goodness we weren't up at Outdoor School--we would have washed away.  Well, here are our plans for this week:

MONDAY & TUESDAY--Students will learn how to fill in a lab report in class.  This will be done altogether, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--The "Mentos & Diet Coke" experiment will be carried out, so data will be collected.  NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Students will complete the data table and conclusion part of their lab report.  The entire thing will be DUE FRIDAY.

FRIDAY--Students will get caught up on taking notes in their Science Notebooks, so NO HOMEWORK.

Just a reminder:  Wednesday is a late start day, so hopefully you have already made plans for that.

It looks like the rollout date for the Chromebooks is now Monday, December 1st, but as always, that is tentative.  If you haven't attended a parent/guardian training so your student may take his/her Chromebook home, there are still two more upcoming.  Hopefully you have received an email about the precise dates already.  If not, you can always call the Office at (360) 264-3600.

Please contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have.  The best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us and the phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
