Greetings!
I certainly enjoyed meeting many of you during conference week last week. If you would still like to meet with me and/or any of the other teachers your student has, please call the TMS Office (360-264-3600) and hopefully we can set something up either before or after school. Also, I hope you have received your student's first quarter progress report by now; they were mailed late last week. A couple of reminders about next week:
There is no school on Tuesday, November 11th due to the Veterans' Day holiday.
Wednesday, November 12th is a "Late Start Day", so hopefully you have made arrangements for that.
Now on to this week's plans:
MONDAY--We will begin our first novel, "The Golden Goblet" Thursday so we will start with a vocabulary assignment. This is HOMEWORK, WHICH IS DUE ON WEDNESDAY.
TUESDAY--Veterans' Day--No school.
WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Only time for silent reading. No homework.
THURSDAY--We will preview "Golden Goblet", so no homework.
FRIDAY--Students will begin reading Chapter 1 in "The Golden Goblet", so students need to have this completed by Monday. Otherwise no other homework.
