7th Grade Science Plans for May 14th through 18th, 2018

Greetings!

Hope you had a "Happy Mother's Day" (I know I did) and are enjoying this lovely, hot weather.  Now here is what we are doing this week:

MONDAY--Students worked on a "Phases of the Moon" packet.  Although they should have been able to get this completed in class today, if they did not, it is HOMEWORK DUE TUESDAY.

TUESDAY--Students will work on the introduction to Chapter 3.  This will be in the form of questions answered in their Science Notebooks.  These will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will begin working on Investigation 3.1 which is a graphing project in class, so NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY--Students will continue working on the graphing project (Investigation #3.1). NO HOMEWORK.

I'm sure you have already made arrangements for this week's LATE START DAY.  Also, remember that we have a BAND CONCERT Wednesday night, and that Friday is the LAST PTA DANCE of the year.

A special "thank you" to those of you who hauled your student to Saturday School.  Those "F" grades are disappearing thanks to your efforts.  I will be emailing and calling later this week for students who are still failing.  Thank you for your support on  this very important matter; it's paying off.

Thank you for getting our students well rested and fed for this week's SBA (State) TESTING.  They are now on the second Language Arts test, where they have an essay to write.  It will be just as intense, but they are really giving it their all.  We should all be very proud of their efforts.

Please call (360-264-3644) or email (humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us) me if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns.  I appreciate your communications.

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
