6th Grade Science Plans for May 21st through 25th, 2018

Greetings!

Another week of beautiful weather!  And now here is what we are doing with it:

MONDAY--Students will begin Investigation 3.2.  It is a lab, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will complete the Investigation 3.2 lab.  There is a worksheet that goes with this, so if it is not completed in class, it is HOMEWORK DUE WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY--Students will read the Water Cycle article and record answers in their Science Notebooks.  They will also go over the directions for Thursday's lab.  NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Carry out Investigation 3.3 lab.  Worksheets are DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.

FRIDAY--Go over information for Investigation 3.4 lab we will do on Tuesday.  NO HOMEWORK.

Students have now finished up their SBA testing in Language Arts, and as of Tuesday will begin their testing in Math.  This will take approximately two weeks.  We greatly appreciate your support on this--early to bed on nights before testing, followed by a good breakfast.  This really does make a difference.  My contribution is trying to cut down on homework on days before testing.  Thank you again!

No "Late Start" this week, just a normal schedule.  Remember that next Monday is Memorial Day, so there is no school on Monday, May 28th.  Enjoy the three day weekend!

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact me.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
