7th Grade Science Plans for March 5th through 9th, 2018

Greetings!

Hope you're enjoying our warm sunny weather!  And here is what we are doing this week:

MONDAY--Students will be adding lecture notes to their Science Notebooks, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will be work on Investigation 4.1--an Mitosis lab with onions.  There is a worksheet that goes with this.  It is HOMEWORK DUE WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY--Students will work on Investigation 5.2:  "Create a Creature".  There is a HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT that goes along with this; it will be DUE FRIDAY.

THURSDAY--Students will continue to work on heredity by doing Investigation 5.3--"Creature Babies".
This HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT IS DUE FRIDAY

FRIDAY--Students will be introduced to "Punnett Squares" in Investigation 5.4.  The worksheet will be HOMEWORK DUE MONDAY.

I'm sure you remember that Wednesday, March 7th is our "Evening at the Museum" in the TMS library prior to the the Band Concert.  When you have dropped off your Band student, swing on in to see your student's handiwork--there are some memorable displays this year.  I know you may not have a sixth grader this year, but you probably remember your child's display from last year and it's fun to look at what the students accomplish each year.

As always, please contact me with questions, comments, and/or concerns you may have.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
