7th Grade Science Plans for November 27th through December 1st, 2017

Greetings!

Hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving break and now have his/her batteries recharged to get us through to Tuesday, December 19th.  Here is what we will be doing this week:

MONDAY--Students will write a reflection in their Science Notebooks on the effect of mass on motion.  This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.  They will also add notes to their Science Notebooks on Net Force.

TUESDAY--Students will read two articles from the textbook:  "Difference Between Mass and Weight" (pg. 27) and "Magnetic Fields" (pgs. 34-35). Then they will work on a worksheet on net mass. This is HOMEWORK DUE WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY--Students will write the procedure for Investigation 3.1 then will begin to work on it in a lab setting, so NO HOMEWORK.

THURSDAY--Students will complete Investigation 3.1 in class, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will write the procedure for Investigation 3.2, so NO HOMEWORK.

No late start or early release this week--just a "regular" schedule (if there is such a thing in middle school).

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
