6th Grade Science Plans for September 25th through 29th, 2017

Greetings!

Finally!  I'm getting your student's progress report emailed out BEFORE the school week has started!  So here are the plans for the upcoming week:

MONDAY--Students need another day on their "Scientific Method Video" notes.  These will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY--Students will go over the lab safety rules and techniques necessary for the "Measurement Lab", thus there will be NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY--Measurement Lab.  DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD on Thursday, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will collect data on the "Wind Up Animal Lab".  This will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so again, NO HOMEWORK.

Hopefully you will be able to come the Outdoor School meeting on Monday, September 25th.  It should last about an hour and will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the TMS Library.  If at all possible, please plan to attend.

No that we are getting underway in our Science class, I am sending out the Class Syllabus on Tuesday, September 26th along with the Lab Safety Contract.  You and your student will need to sign them.  Please get these SIGNED & RETURNED ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH.  Your student will not be able to participate in labs without them.

NO Late Start this week, so please plan on a full week of school.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.  The phone number in my classroom is (360) 264-3644 and the best email address to reach me at is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
