7th Grade Science Plans for October 24th through 27th, 2016

Greetings!

Well, I'm back!  I survived last week's Outdoor School, and your Seventh Grade student easily survived the week without me.  Now let's take a look at what we will be doing this week:

MONDAY:  I will be catching up with the students to find out what they did last week, so NO HOMEWORK.

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY:  Students will work on their "Grand Canyon Packets".  These will be DUE ON FRIDAY.

THURSDAY:  Students will begin working on geologic vocabulary which they will record in their Science Notebooks, so NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY:  Students will watch a geology video and will take notes, which will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD, so NO HOMEWORK.

You will be receiving your student's "Mid-Term Grades" shortly.  This means we are half way through the first trimester.  If you or your student is not satisfied with these grades, it's not too late to change them.  Usually, what drags a student's grade down the most, are missing assignments.  Please double check to see if your student has any and if so, get the work completed and turned in as soon as possible.

Also, if you would like to schedule a conference (November 7th through 10th), please contact the Office (360-264-3600).  Those evening conferences usually fill up first, so if you need one of those, you may want to call and/or email very soon.

If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact me as soon as possible.  The best phone number to reach me is (360) 264-3644 and the best email is humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
