6th Grade Science Plans for May 25th through 29th, 2015

Greetings!

Hope you had a terrific Memorial Day weekend!  It was nice to have the chance to sleep in, even if the weather wasn't that great.  Now on to our plans for the shortened week:

MONDAY--No School--Memorial Day

TUESDAY--Students will watch a video on the Moon.  NO HOMEWORK.

WEDNESDAY--Students will get back & go over a number of assignments, then will complete the "Lunar Questions" activity.  It will be DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.

THURSDAY--Students will add more astronomy vocabulary to their Science Notebooks and will read the "Moon Crater Controversy".  NO HOMEWORK.

FRIDAY--Students will begin working on the "Model Impact Craters" lab.  NO HOMEWORK.

Just a reminder:  The Honor Society trip is scheduled for next Monday.  If your student is attending, please be sure the permission form & money are turned in ASAP.  If you are one of the parent chaperones, please be sure all of your volunteer paperwork has been turned in and that the Office is aware that you want to go.

Please contact me with questions, comments, or concerns at either my email address (humblem@tenino.k12.wa.us) or classroom phone (360-264-3644).

Have a wonderful week,
Michele Humble
