Greetings!
One day of testing (MAP Math) left this week--Hooray! 6tth & 7th graders will finish up on Tuesday (5/19) and 8th graders will complete theirs on Wednesday (5/20).Hope you also remember that Wednesday, May 20th is a LATE START DAY.
After some wonderful input from one of my students, I decided we will RETAKE EXAM #3 ON FRIDAY, MAY 22ND. Several assignments will be give out this week to cover the concepts. PLEASE GO OVER THESE WITH YOUR STUDENT TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY NIGHTS. Students received their original exam along with the other original assignments, so please go over these, too.
Now on to this week's plans:
MONDAY--Students will work on their group "Moon Questions" to categorize. No homework, but they should STUDY FOR THE TEST.
TUESDAY----Exam #4. When students are done with this, they will work in groups on a Time Zone assignment. THIS IS HOMEWORK--DUE WEDNESDAY.
WEDNESDAY--Students will work on another Time Zone assignment. This is HOMEWORK that is DUE THURSDAY.
THURSDAY--Students work in groups on a "Local Noon" assignment. This is HOMEWORK which is DUE FRIDAY.
FRIDAY--Students will RETAKE EXAM #3. NO HOMEWORK.
