Greetings!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break! Now our batteries are all recharged to take on the final quarter and the "Smarter Balanced" and MAP testing. Remember: WEDNESDAY IS A LATE START DAY. Here's what we will be doing this week:
MONDAY--Students work on the rough draft of their "Create-An-Insect". This is HOMEWORK & is DUE TUESDAY.
TUESDAY--Students will turn in their rough drafts then watch a video on bug myths, so NO HOMEWORK.
WEDNESDAY--LATE START DAY--Students will participate in our 3rd Quarter auction and the election of our new treasurers. NO HOMEWORK.
THURSDAY--Students will make the illustration for their "Create-An-Insect" project. This is HOMEWORK DUE FRIDAY.
FRIDAY-- Students will make the metamorphosis drawing for the "Create-An-Insect" project. This is HOMEWORK, and will be DUE TUESDAY.
I hope the grades you see are the final marks for the third quarter. The report cards will be printed this week and should be mailed out shortly thereafter. Look for them late this weekend or early next week. The "Smarter Balanced" testing will begin April 27th, and will last about three weeks. The MAP testing will begin when all of that is complete.
